Welcome! I'm Naima, I am experienced online tutor who has worked with learners from kindergarten to university. I also help adults prepare for French language proficiency tests as a secondary language. Over the past several years, I've accumulated over 4,000 hours of tutoring experience.
In addition, I have studied in France and Canada and have experience working in schools, making me familiar with various curriculum. My lifelong pursuit of knowledge has been fueled by my own educational background and professional experience. My goal is to inspire my learners with a similar passion for learning.
After years of tutoring, I developed the SOW (Skills, Objectives, Well-being) approach. This method helps learners improve their French and English language skills and other key competencies.
What is SOW approach?
Skills:
Every individual has unique skills and the potential for growth. Using the SOW approach, tutoring sessions are tailored to meet learners at their current level. By understanding their learning preferences and strengths, a personalized learning plan is created that enhances their skills, boosts their confidence, and improves their ability to engage academically.
Well-Being:
Well-being is central to the SOW framework. A positive atmosphere fosters curiosity, learning from mistakes, and progress at a comfortable pace. As a result, learners are more likely to engage effectively and embrace lifelong learning.
Objectives:
The SOW approach focuses on setting clear goals and outlining the steps needed to achieve them. In collaboration with the learner or their parents, we define these goals and create a plan to reach them. Throughout the sessions, a variety of interactive tools and techniques are employed to keep the learning engaging and support the learner in achieving their goals.
